Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle and/or SQL Server database environments.
- Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Perform database tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning.
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Manage database security, user roles, permissions, and access controls.
- Ensure database availability through clustering, replication, and high-availability solutions.
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Automate routine database administrative tasks using scripts and tools.
