This role is a Permanent position on a dayshift / nightshift roster , at our Boddington Bauxite Mine reporting to the Supervisor Maintenance.

Please note that accommodation is not provided on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out to site on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hour’s drive of Boddington.

As the Operator Senior Mine , you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient execution of production activities while supporting and guiding mine operators through day-to-day leadership and mentoring.

Key deliverables for the role are, but aren’t limited to:

Operating equipment and completing tasks aligned with the production plan

Supporting continuous improvement of procedures and work practices

Promoting and maintaining a safe and respectful work environment

Reporting incidents, hazards, and contributing to team development

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Mining Operator in an open-cut mining environment

Proven operating experience on:

Hitachi EX2600 (or equivalent large mining excavators)

CAT 993K Wheel Loaders (or equivalent large mining loaders)

CAT D11 Dozers and/or Komatsu D475-5 Dozers

Large Floats / Heavy Equipment Transport

Demonstrated ability to safely operate multiple large production mining assets across mining operations.

Qualifications for this position are:

Hold a current C Class driving licence

Demonstrated proficiency in both written and spoken English

Consistently meets expected behavioural and safety standards

Proven ability to contribute to team outcomes and display positive leadership behaviours

Extensive hands-on experience in production mining, including detailed knowledge of mining activities and operation of production face digging equipment
