About the Role
Ducast Factory LLC is looking for a Pattern Maker Operator to read engineering drawings and create wooden patterns for foundry components. The role requires knowledge of pattern making allowances, inspection using measuring instruments, and operation of woodworking machinery.

Responsibilities
- Read drawings of engineering components for pattern making
- Create wooden patterns and core boxes for foundry industry
- Inspect patterns using surface plate, height gauges, and other measuring instruments
- Mount patterns on boards or plates for machine and hand moulding
- Repair and modify old patterns
- Operate woodworking machinery such as thicknesser, circular saw, band saw cutter, buffer, planning machine
Requirements
- Ability to read engineering drawings of components such as manhole covers, valve bodies, crushing bars, plates
- Knowledge of wooden pattern and core box making for foundry industry
- Experience in pattern inspection using surface plate, height gauges, vernier caliper, angle protractors, scales
- Knowledge of pattern making allowances: contraction, machining, draft taper, follow board, self recess design
- Experience in old pattern repairing and modifications
- Ability to operate woodworking machines: thicknesser, circular saw, band saw cutter, buffer, planning machine

Requirements
- He should be able to read drawing of engineering components, Manhole covers, Valve Body, Crushing Bars, Plates Etc.
- He should have Knowledge about wooden pattern core box making for engineering components and other patterns for foundry industry.
- He must be able to do inspection of pattern by marking on surface plate and by height gauges and other measuring instruments like Vernier caliper, Angle Protractors, Scales.
- He must have knowledge of mounting by bolting and by screw on boards or plates suitable for machine and hand moulding.
- He must have knowledge of Pattern making allowances contraction machining, Draft Taper, Follow Board, Self Racess design Etc.
- He must have experience in old pattern repairing and modifications.
- He should be conversant with working of pattern making, wood working and knowing machine to operate Thicknesser, Circular, Band saw cutter, Buffer M/C, Planning Machine and Late Etc.
