Responsibilities
- Experience on workshop equipment such as milling machine, lathe, planar, shaper as per requirement of work job.
- Able to read basic drawing (check dimensions).
- Knowledge of machine tools & equipment. (Tools used like cutter, tool holders, cutting tips)
- Assembly & fitting of machines.
- Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment in order to remove grease, rust, stains, and foreign matter.
- Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements.
- Knowledge of metal properties and other material.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.
- Responsible for machine condition and safety of machine.
- Responsible for personal safety at work place and while using the machine.
