What You’ll Do Here
Perform preliminary system test,
Starts the batches of various types of projects and for all laboratory teams and follows the batches performance to promptly identify possible problems (e.g.: retention time shifting, sensitivity drops, instrument communication problems).
Monitors instrument performance throughout the injection to perform troubleshooting, system interruption, and batch re injection procedures and intervenes where necessary.
Completing supplementary information forms as needed to complete documentation.
Performs specific instrument optimization by FIA on mass spectrometers, optimization on HPLC UV/FL.
Summarizes and enumerates essential points during “hand off” to subsequent shift.
Assist to pre-study meeting
Responsible for appropriate column care (e.g. maintenance, rinsing, replacement).
Creates and maintains the daily injection schedule establishing project priorities with team managers as needed.
To conduct all work in compliance with applicable SOPs, GCPs, GLPs, and observe all company guidelines and policies.
Respecting Health and Safety standards in terms of personal protection, laboratory maintenance, and work procedures.

College or University Degree in Chemistry or equivalent field
Experience in the medical and/or pharmaceutical fields with typically 2 years of pertinent experience.
Good communication (both written and verbal in French & English
Must understand general SOPs and have knowledge of GLP regulations.
Good organizational skills, attentive to details with respect to sample pretreatment procedures and raw data handling,
Manual dexterity essential.
Basic knowledge of mass spectrometry.
