MISSION/SUMMARY
The Finishing department is an integral part of the production process. Individuals must understand and align business operations as they execute their role to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial, and operational objectives.
JOB FUNCTIONS: (include, but are not limited to the following)
Perform manual labor duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while working under tight production deadlines.
Responsible for palletizing product, wrapping, strapping, and labeling loads.
Responsible for ensuring all required quality checks are performed following SOP's.
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of work area (removing stray cartons, sweeping, etc.).
Safely perform all tasks on and around moving machinery/equipment.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Must follow all GPI safe work practices.
Other duties as required and assigned.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Prior exposure to manufacturing strongly preferred.
- Must be able to read/interpret/complete information sheets/forms.
