Scheduling Coordinator (16041)

Job Summary: The Scheduling Coordinator is an hourly hybrid role between Scheduling Clerk and Production Scheduler. This role will be assisting in both capacities; the monitoring of Cup, Lid and Press scheduling and daily scheduling of Blankers, Slitter as needed. This position must monitor inventories and schedule according to lead times and customer demand. This position must work closely with the Production, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Customer Service Departments.

Essential Job Functions: 1. Promote, encourage, and demonstrate good safety practices. 2. Schedule and monitor efforts of production areas. 3. Be aware of and responsive to customer demand and changes 4. Schedule to maintain proper inventory levels. 5. Utilize and maintain various reports and documents. 6. Maintain proper inventory turnover as directed by management. 7. Have and demonstrate working knowledge of various PC programs (i.e., Excel (spreadsheet), e-mail, basic word processing). 8. Effectively communicate with individuals both inside and outside of the GPI family. 9. Flexibility and willingness to learn other tasks within the department (setting up new items and distribution orders between facilities of finished goods). 10. Must have a proactive active approach and problem-solving skills. 11. Miscellaneous duties to be assigned, as necessary. 12. Maintain good attendance.

Requirements: -Proven experience using excel (Testing will be required) -Clerical experience required. (Post secondary education can replace experience) -Production Scheduling (manufacturing) experience highly preferred.
