An opportunity has arisen at Brett Aggregates’ Cliffe Terminal for a reliable and motivated Operative to join our team in Cliffe. Working as part of a busy operational team, you will support the safe, efficient and compliant handling and processing of aggregate materials, ensuring high standards of safety, housekeeping and customer service are maintained at all times. About Your Role Safely operate mobile and static plant in line with site procedures Load lorries, trains and barges efficiently and professionally Carry out routine inspections of plant and equipment Undertake basic maintenance and housekeeping tasks Maintain high standards of site cleanliness, including managing spillages, haul roads and bunds Promptly report accidents, incidents, near misses, or changes in material quality Work collaboratively as part of a team, providing support where required We're Looking For Experience in operating mobile and/or fixed plant within a production or processing environment (NVQ or working towards desirable) Good communication and interpersonal skills Sound mechanical understanding of plant and equipment Self-motivated, flexible and proactive, with strong problem-solving ability Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment We'll Offer You A competitive salary Generous pension 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays Life assurance Career and professional development Free onsite parking Employee assistance programme Cycle to work scheme Employee discounts Plus more!
