As our asphalt business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced and ambitious Asphalt Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the future development of our asphalt business, leading high-performing teams and ensuring our customers continue to receive the outstanding service they expect from Brett. About Your Role Lead the operations of the Brett asphalt business located at Ridham and Whitstable Ensure the safe, efficient and compliant operation of two asphalt batch plants Develop and inspire a team comprising two Production Managers and multi-skilled operatives Work closely with commercial and transport colleagues to ensure customer expectations are consistently met Implement industry-leading inspection, maintenance and operational systems to maximise plant reliability and efficiency Play a leading role in shaping the future growth and development of the asphalt business We're Looking For A strong leader with experience of creating and developing a positive team culture Experienced in asphalt manufacturing, with responsibility for operational performance and P&L delivery Driven by continuous improvement and able to demonstrate a track record of achieving results A confident communicator who can build effective relationships across a range of functions Ambitious, adaptable and ready to embrace challenges while growing with the business We'll Offer You A competitive salary Company car/car allowance Generous pension 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays Life assurance Career and professional development Free onsite parking Employee assistance programme Enhanced parental leave Cycle to work scheme Employee discounts Plus more!
