The Position
Reporting to a Mine Operations Superintendent, the Operations Technologist will be required to complete tasks to ensure the efficient management of key projects within the mine operations department.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate cost reporting for mine operations projects.
- Planning and ordering for key components and tasks within operation projects.
- Developing and maintaining operational technology improvements.
- Technical and operational support for various underground mining processes
- Contractor contact and management duties.
- Lead and support various process improvement projects within operational team
- Promote health, safety, environment and community objectives for employees and contractors.
Skills and Qualifications
- Mine Engineering Technician or Technologist Diploma.
- 2 years Mine Operations Experience.
- Strong computer and technology skillset, experience with coding considered an asset
- Experience with managing projects and contractor management
