Role overview
Lead frontline manufacturing operations and daily production performance at the Cambridge plant.
Manage employees and operational programs that improve safety, quality, service, cost, equipment effectiveness, and yield.
Support employee engagement, continuous improvement, labor relations, and team development.
Key responsibilities
- Direct technicians and establish production schedules, assignments, and sequences.
- Drive OPEX and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Track KPIs and prepare reports on inventory and yield variances.
- Lead the Autonomous Maintenance program and maintain action plans.
- Coordinate operations across supervisors, facility leaders, and departments.
- Coordinate technical training, coaching, feedback, and labor-concern resolution.
- Ensure EHS, quality, food safety, GMP, and operational standards are followed.
- Lead incident investigations and support corrective action plans.
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED plus three or more years in a Colgate-Palmolive or Hill’s manufacturing environment, or a bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to manage production activities, resource allocation, shift coordination, and schedules.
