About the Role
QatarEnergy is hiring an Operations Supervisor for Transmission and Distribution to oversee gas distribution through pipelines and stations. The role involves supervising maintenance, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and coordinating with upstream and downstream stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Supervises the distribution of gas through pipelines, manifold and letdown stations.
- Ensures stations/pipelines/LBVs/SBVs are working efficiently and faults are speedily rectified.
- Plans and supervises all aspects of Transmission and Distribution in assigned area.
- Participates in developing and upgrading production and export plans by liaising with upstream and downstream stakeholders.
- Ensures gas is distributed safely and efficiently, maximizing use of available resources.
- Develops and directs safe working practices and ensures all regulations are adhered to.
- Reviews, discusses and implements proposed/agreed man power plans and Qatarization within the system.
Requirements
- Experience in gas transmission and distribution operations.
- Supervisory experience in pipeline and station maintenance.
- Knowledge of HSE regulations and safe working practices.
- Ability to coordinate with upstream gas producers and downstream consumers.

Primary Purpose of the Job
- Supervises the distribution of gas through pipelines, manifold and letdown stations, ensuring efficient operation and speedy rectification of faults.
- Supervises the maintenance of Stations / pipelines / LBVs / SBVs.
- Assumes full responsibility for the Gas distribution of assigned area.
- Plans and supervises all aspects of Transmission and Distribution in assigned area.
- Participates in developing and upgrading various production and export plans by liaising with upstream gas producers, related Onshore and Offshore functions and downstream consumers.
- Supervises and coordinates the distribution of gas through stations and associated pipelines to local customers.
- Ensures gas is distributed safely and efficiently and that maximum use is made of available resources.
- Develops and directs safe working practices in all areas and ensures all regulations are adhered to.
- Reviews, discusses and implements proposed/agreed man power plans and Qatarization within the system.
