The Position

Operations Supervisor

Location

  • Chicagoland - (Bolingbrook, IL)

Shift

2nd Shift

Monday - Friday 5:00PM-1:00AM

Must be able to train on 1st shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000-$80,000

Essential Functions

Coach, manage, and develop a team of 25-100 associates

Communicate policies to your team and act as the primary information source for the team- maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when needed

Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality

Create daily shift plans and execute shift operations

Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean working environment

Maintain adequate levels of supplies required to fill foreseeable needs

Complete all necessary administrative duties in a timely manner

Work overtime depending on business needs

Inspire and lead a wide variety of employees to work together for the shared business goals

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years as a Warehouse/Distribution/Shift Supervisor, managing 10+ employees
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
  • Adept at the ability to motivate others in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to analyze and dive deep into data to provide thought-provoking, workable business solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills - ability to inspire and unafraid to deal with difficulty
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Painstaking attention to detail - ability to spot potential issues and create systems to prevent them
  • Flexibility - comfort with change in process, requirements, or schedule
  • Very strong work ethic - ability to lead by example
