Job Purpose
Manage end-to-end operational execution of international commodity-trade shipments from purchase order through documentation, payment, delivery, and claim resolution.
The role covers scrap metal, steel, copper, export and domestic shipping, SAP data management, KYC, logistics, quality, claims, and trade compliance.
Shipping Documentation and Compliance
- Prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, freight certificates, non-wood declarations, and origin-specific paperwork.
- Review Letters of Credit and align documentation with banking and customer requirements.
- Cross-check Bills of Lading and shipping documents against carrier drafts before finalization.
- Prepare, submit, and track Pre-Shipment Inspection Certificate applications.
- Manage customs registrations, approvals, licences, renewals, and VAT import/export documentation.
SAP and Master Data
- Maintain container, vessel, OBL/AWB, and shipment data in SAP and cross-check it against vessel schedules.
- Create and update customer and vendor masters, purchase applications, and sales orders in SAP and JULES.
- Keep SAP, JULES, and KYC records consistent and post delivery notes, invoices, and EMSTEEL transactions.
