Job Purpose
Optimize, schedule, and safely manage heavy machinery and field personnel, including drivers and heavy equipment operators.
Synchronize people and assets to deliver projects on time, improve fuel and maintenance efficiency, and comply with transport and safety laws.
Fleet and Asset Management
- Oversee vehicle and machinery registration, licensing, tracking, and decommissioning.
- Monitor GPS and diagnostic data through telematics systems.
- Design and enforce preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns and extend equipment life.
Operator and Driver Management
- Create shift rosters, rotation schedules, and project assignments.
- Assess driver behavior using telematics data and implement corrective plans.
- Track licenses, equipment permits, Aramco or TUV certifications, and medical checks.
- Handle disputes, attendance, leave, and disciplinary actions.
- Conduct toolbox talks, coordinate defensive-driving training, and enforce rest periods.
