Role Overview
The role applies software development and modeling expertise to critical engineering challenges in Intel's Factory Automation organization.
The position develops software solutions, conducts research, and prototypes ideas for manufacturing and technology problems.
Business Group
Intel's Factory Automation organization addresses complex manufacturing challenges and develops tools for Intel Foundry customers.
The team supports Intel's broader technology and product mission through technical software and modeling solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform modeling analyses to advance Intel's manufacturing roadmap.
- Develop software applications and solutions, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and industry partners on technology challenges.
- Use programming and software modeling techniques to solve complex engineering problems.
- Apply statistical analysis and characterization tools to interpret modeling results.
Minimum Qualifications
- Have a degree in industrial engineering, systems engineering, operations research engineering, or an equivalent field.
