Responsibilities
- Manage the Stock, Aftersales, Cash and Administration functions within the boutique
- Ensure the team has a good understanding and deployment of the House’s strategy
- Manage and animate the team to foster collaboration and enthusiasm across roles and missions
- Motivate the team towards achievement of objectives via appraisals and follow ups
- Define priority actions for team development and monitor them
- Be a support and pro active force to the team in search of solutions and optimization
- Collaborate with boutique management to align retail teams with CHANEL’s strategy
- Analyze sales and results of the boutique regularly, ensuring positive progress towards objectives
- Support Boutique Management with analysis of KPIs for each business activity
- Supervise inventory management, prepare annual inventory and optimize regular inventory process

Context & Environment
- The Operations Manager is in charge of all support and back office activities (inventory, maintenance, aftersales, cash, admin and security) for the Fashion & Watches & Fine Jewelry Twin Boutique at Mall of the Emirates.
- Combining strong leadership, team spirit, passion for fashion and strong analytical mind, he/she contributes directly to optimize results of the boutique.
Management of Back Office Team
- Managing the Stock, Aftersales, Cash and Administration functions within the boutique.
- Ensuring the team has a good understanding and deployment of the House’s strategy.
- Managing and animating the team to foster collaboration and enthusiasm.
- Motivating the team towards achievement of objectives via appraisals and follow ups.
- Defining priority actions for team development and monitoring them.
- Being a support and pro active force to the team in search of solutions and optimization.
- Collaborating with boutique management to align retail teams with CHANEL’s strategy.
Piloting the Business
- Being a strategic partner to the Boutique Director.
- Analyzing sales and results of the boutique on a regular basis, ensuring positive progress towards objectives.
- Supporting Boutique Management with analysis of KPIs for each business activity.
- Carrying out specific studies necessary for Boutique Management and being a force of proposal.
- Working closely with Boutique Management to facilitate buying decisions.
- Supervising inventory management, preparing annual inventory and optimizing regular inventory process.
- Managing Aftersales operations to ensure optimal client satisfaction.
- Ensuring appropriate scheduling of team members and overseeing Police/Mall permits.
- Ensuring cash procedures and guidelines are implemented and followed.
- Guaranteeing and setting up necessary security devices and procedures.
- Monitoring that boutique purchases remain within allocated budget.
Being an Ambassador of the Brand
- Contributing to projects and sharing the CHANEL vision with the team.
- Representing CHANEL standards in front of external bodies and Mall Management.
- Ensuring boutique procedures and Charter are implemented and respected.
- Using Chanel Brand Image as a filter in decision making.
