Overview
- Lead and manage end-to-end logistics operations (air, sea, and land) including all import and export shipments
- Oversee all custom clearance processes, including BOE, HS Codes, COO, legalization, and regulatory approvals
- Manage and coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters, and clearing agents to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods
- Oversee cross trade, transshipment, and switch bill of lading operations
- Plan and control delivery schedules across UAE and GCC, ensuring alignment with project timelines and operational priorities
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery to project sites, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate closely with project teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth site deliveries and execution
- Oversee warehouse operations and inventory control, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and traceability of all materials
- Maintain accurate stock records, reporting systems, and material tracking mechanisms
- Ensure proper material identification, labeling, and storage practices across all facilities
- Manage logistics and material flow for Fixtures Division, including raw material availability, assembly line coordination, and handling of samples, mock-ups, and finished product dispatch
- Manage logistics and material flow for Poles Division, including raw material supply (MS sheets, pipes, accessories), and coordination of fabrication, galvanizing, coating, and delivery processes
- Ensure effective coordination between production, procurement, sales, finance, and HR departments to support uninterrupted operations and project execution
- Ensure availability of materials to avoid production delays and maintain operational continuity
- Take full ownership of transport management and vehicle operations, including planning and allocation of all company vehicles for logistics and operational activities
- Coordinate manpower movement in liaison with HR (labour, staff, technicians)
- Manage transportation of office furniture, equipment, machinery, and internal assets
- Manage procurement-related transport movements (local and international)
- Monitor vehicle utilization, maintenance schedules, and operational efficiency
- Oversee all loading, unloading, and dispatch operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety standards
- Manage supplier-related logistics movements and coordinate procurement deliveries
- Oversee all logistics documentation for banking terms including LC, DP, DA documentation, VAT, duty calculations, and reimbursement processes
- Establish and manage inventory control systems for raw materials, finished goods, and project-based materials
- Ensure effective implementation and usage of ERP / MRP systems for inventory, logistics, and operations tracking
- Enforce real-time stock transactions, including GRN, material issuance, and stock transfers within the system
- Ensure alignment between physical stock and system records, and investigate discrepancies where required
- Conduct and supervise periodic stock takes, cycle counts, and annual inventory audits
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Lead, train, and supervise storekeepers and warehouse staff to ensure proper material handling, system usage, and accurate stock reporting
- Ensure proper material traceability and structured storage systems for both lighting components and steel pole materials
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking
- Monitor and optimize material consumption, wastage, and stock aging
- Drive continuous improvement in logistics efficiency, cost optimization, and operational performance
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) across logistics, warehouse, and transport functions
