Job Summary

  • The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management, coordination, execution, and profitability of all company operations related to lighting projects, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, warehouse management, installation, maintenance, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
  • The role ensures that all lighting products and projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
  • The Operations Manager will oversee factory operations, project execution teams, procurement, supply chain activities, subcontractors, and technical departments while continuously improving productivity, quality, and profitability.

Strategic Operations Management

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Establish annual operational plans, budgets, and performance targets.
  • Monitor company profitability across all projects and operations.
  • Identify operational risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop KPIs for all departments.
  • Optimize resources, manpower, equipment, and materials.
  • Prepare monthly operational reports for management.

Project Management & Execution

  • Full responsibility for Street Lighting, Landscape Lighting, Architectural Lighting, Sports Lighting, Solar Lighting, Tunnel Lighting, Smart Lighting, and Industrial Lighting Projects.
  • Review project contracts, BOQs, specifications, drawings, and schedules.
  • Ensure project execution according to approved plans.
  • Manage project managers, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress and productivity.
  • Conduct weekly project review meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with consultant and client requirements.
  • Manage project budgets and cost control.
  • Ensure timely submission of shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, as built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranty documentation.

Manufacturing Operations Management

  • Develop weekly and monthly production plans.
  • Ensure production targets are achieved.
  • Balance manufacturing capacity with project requirements.
  • Monitor factory productivity.
  • Oversee LED Luminaire Assembly, Pole Manufacturing, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Powder Coating, Galvanizing Coordination, Driver Installation, PCB Assembly Coordination, and Quality Testing.
  • Monitor daily production output.
  • Reduce manufacturing waste.
  • Improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage machine utilization.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles.

Procurement & Supply Chain Management

  • Manage sourcing and procurement of LED Chips, Drivers, Surge Protection Devices, Poles, Steel Materials, Aluminum Components, Solar Panels, Batteries, Controllers, Smart Systems, and Electrical Accessories.
  • Vendor selection and qualification.
  • Supplier negotiations.
  • Cost reduction initiatives.
  • Purchase order approvals.
  • Material delivery tracking.
  • Procurement planning.
  • International sourcing management.

Warehouse & Logistics Management

  • Inventory management.
  • Stock control.
  • Material receiving inspections.
  • Warehouse organization.
  • Material issuance control.
  • Inventory audits.
  • Delivery scheduling.
  • Fleet management.
  • Import/export coordination.
  • Customs clearance coordination.
  • Shipping documentation review.
  • Project delivery planning.

Financial Management

  • Responsible for operational budgets, project budgets, factory budgets, and procurement budgets.
  • Material cost analysis.
  • Labor cost analysis.
  • Equipment cost analysis.
  • Project profitability analysis.
  • Monthly financial reporting.
