Maintains comprehensive oversight of all projects, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with quality standards.
Monitors overall quantity and quality of work performed by the division, proactively addressing risks and performance gaps.

Additional Scopes:
Purchasing: Has oversight to make financial decisions of all their respective region including scope, budgets, scheduling etc. Overall financial responsibility on the execution budget and ensuring change orders are priced properly to protect margin and contractual obligations. The Operations Manager, Electrical is responsible to ensure forecasts are prepared each month for all
Scheduling: Provides directions to management in various areas, groups and Monitors schedules of all construction projects to maintain timely completion of projects within budget.
Planning Process: Makes final decisions for overall projects; develops and utilizes process to alert key players of conditions and delays that may negatively affect deliverables and costs for each project.
Problem Solving: Leads the operations team on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company as well as the construction
Field Labour: Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.
Direction/Process: Work is carried out under broad objectives; translating corporate objectives into clear operational standards, to resolve escalations. Negotiates the terms and conditions of all agreements and completes contracts.
Direction to Others: Monitors progress of the division, including project teams to ensure compliance with schedules, budgets, contractual milestones and operating expectations, exercising delegated authority as necessary. Has final decision-making responsibility in absence of VP.
Autonomy: Member of the management team and ultimately responsible to ensure that all projects stay in line with financial metrics and are trending towards targets. Erroneous decisions will have a serious impact on the overall success of functional, division, or company
Corporate Decisions: The Operations Manager, Electrical prepares, manages and operates within budgets for the division operations; also monitors and protects company
Managing Client Relationships: Responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with clients, General Contractors, and internal partners to support successful project delivery, backlog growth, and long‑term customer satisfaction. Collaborates with cross function teams to deliver results.
Internal Relationships/Mentorship: Serves as the primary operational leader for the Electrical division, mentoring and developing teams, and emerging leaders while reinforcing Core Values and SMaC discipline.
Supplier and Subcontractor Coordination: Regularly visits job sites to ensure quality and safety standards are being maintained. Builds and maintains positive relationships with all external parties including trades, clients, engineers and External actions and decisions effect the organization long-term goals and objectives.
