Role objective
The Operations Manager is part of the store leadership team and owns operational strategy at the Bondi Junction store.
The role focuses on inventory management, labor planning and scheduling to keep the store customer-ready and operationally efficient.
Operations leadership
- Oversee key operational processes and investigate root causes of inventory accuracy issues.
- Use business performance data to maintain operational standards on the sales floor.
- Coordinate inventory counts and labor hours for efficient product delivery receiving.
- Support a safe work environment and efficient operation.
Business leadership
- Represent the business in meetings and conference calls with the General Manager.
- Review budgets, reporting and business data, including expenses and sell-through metrics.
- Inform quarterly business reviews, sales planning and future workflow planning.
People leadership
- Lead the Operations team through accountability, regular coaching, talent development and improved communication.
- Establish internal and external talent pipelines through succession planning and recruitment strategy.
