Role Description
- This is a remote internship role for an Operations Intern at RyderX Delivery Services.
- The Operations Intern will support day to day logistics coordination, including tracking delivery performance, monitoring route efficiency, and assisting with rider scheduling.
- Responsibilities include maintaining operational records, helping prepare reports for internal stakeholders and clients, and supporting the implementation of standard operating procedures.
- The intern will collaborate with operations and account management teams to address service issues, improve processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- This role offers exposure to last mile logistics operations, performance analytics, and client service in a fast paced delivery environment.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, track details, and work to deadlines.
- Comfort with spreadsheets and basic data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) to compile and interpret operational data.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and document processes.
- Interest in logistics, operations management, or supply chain, preferably as part of current or recent academic studies.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with a proactive approach to problem solving and learning.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with delivery platforms, GPS based tools, or dispatch systems is an advantage but not required.
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree or diploma in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
