Role Description
This part-time hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi and combines on-site collaboration with flexibility for some work from home.
The role oversees journal operations, including submissions, peer review, author communications, stakeholder relationships, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operational workflows for the journal.
- Coordinate submission handling, peer-review processes, and author communications.
- Coordinate with editorial and production teams.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement process improvements.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and support project planning.
- Maintain documentation and reports to track progress and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- Experience with operational management and process improvement, including workflow optimization, timeline setting, and performance monitoring.
- Project coordination and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, priorities, documentation, and reports.
- Stakeholder and account management experience with authors, editors, partners, or similar contacts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent English communication across cross-functional and international teams.
