Role Description
- The Operations Excellence Manager is a part time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility for some work from home arrangements.
- Responsible for analyzing existing operational processes, identifying bottlenecks, and designing improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency across the business.
- Day to day tasks include mapping workflows, defining standard operating procedures, developing performance metrics, and coordinating with cross functional teams to implement and monitor process changes.
- Will also track key performance indicators, prepare reports and recommendations for leadership, and support training and change management initiatives to ensure adoption of best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in operations management, process improvement, or business optimization, with the ability to analyze workflows and design efficient procedures.
- Strong skills in data analysis and reporting, including proficiency with spreadsheets and basic analytics tools to track KPIs and operational performance.
- Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and coordinate cross functional initiatives in a structured and timely manner.
- Clear and concise communication skills, with the capability to document processes, present findings, and facilitate training sessions.
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on practical, sustainable solutions.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, collaborating both on site in Abu Dhabi and remotely, with strong self management skills.
- Prior experience in the UAE or regional market operations is an advantage, as is familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
