Operations Director - Quality Assurance

Overview

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Leads senior teams to deliver excellence, embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
• Shapes and executes the quality assurance strategy, setting priorities and guiding delivery plans.
• Owns business risk management, audit programmes, accreditation and internal audit schedules.
• Advises senior leadership on quality matters and chairs QA leadership forums.
• Ensures effective use, governance and continual improvement of the quality management system.
• Oversees reporting, insights and communication strategies that influence strategic decision‑making.
• Drives capability development, training and performance improvement across the business and supply chain.
• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll Need To Have

• Degree‑level education with lead auditor training and quality‑focused experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality assurance systems.
• Skilled in audit, risk, budgeting and operational planning.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management in complex organisations.
