As an Operations Analyst, you will be a hands-on member of the warehouse support team, spending significant time on the floor investigating discrepancies, validating inventory, supporting quality issue resolution, and helping maintain efficient inbound, outbound, and storage operations. The role combines root-cause analysis, transaction accuracy, and cross-functional coordination to keep operations moving smoothly.
Conduct root cause investigations for inbound, inventory, outbound, shipping, and quality-related issues.
Perform warehouse audits of inbound, inventory, and outbound operations to ensure process compliance and accuracy.
Investigate inventory discrepancies, receiving errors, shipment shortages, and operational process failures.
Manage and track Purchase Order (PO) discrepancies and coordinate resolution with Procurement, Planning, Operations, and suppliers.
Monitor and manage quality notifications in partnership with the 3PL provider and support issue resolution.
Maintain and monitor hold inventory, including physical inventory and inventory dollar exposure.
Oversee inventory disposition activities, including scrap, quality hold, and return inventory.
Manage packaging and operational supply inventories, monitor usage, and coordinate replenishment activities.
Support critical inbound receipts and customer-priority outbound shipments to ensure timely processing.
Oversee shipment deletion transactions between the 3PL Warehouse Management System and SAP to maintain inventory and system accuracy.
Support operational and customer escalations through investigation, containment, and resolution.
Work closely with warehouse leadership and the 3PL provider to improve execution and maintain operational standards.
Stay close to the work by spending meaningful time on the warehouse floor, observing processes, validating inventory, and understanding issues at the source.
Own investigations through to resolution with disciplined root-cause analysis, clear containment actions, and accurate follow-up on inbound, inventory, outbound, shipping, and quality issues.
Focus on what matters by prioritizing critical receipts, customer-priority shipments, and high-exposure inventory situations that affect service and compliance.
Improve every day by using audits, discrepancy trends, and operational feedback to identify process gaps, remove obstacles, and strengthen standard work.
Win as one team by collaborating openly with Procurement, Planning, Operations, suppliers, warehouse leadership, and the 3PL provider to resolve issues quickly and sustainably.
Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, supply chain, or quality issue resolution.
Working knowledge of SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Experience managing or resolving PO discrepancies, inventory holds, or inventory disposition activities.
Familiarity with operational audits, cycle counts, stock reconciliation, or shipment transaction control.
