About the Role

Based at our Canberra depot, the Operations Admin Support role is responsible for coordinating daily operational administration to ensure freight movements, customer commitments, reporting and compliance activities are delivered efficiently.

Key responsibilities include

  • Coordinating freight bookings, movements and delivery activities across the depot
  • Monitoring freight status and following up on outstanding deliveries and operational tasks
  • Managing Authority to Leave (ATL) instructions and communications with drivers
  • Maintaining operational records, reporting and data integrity across business systems
  • Managing the ACT operational inbox and responding to customer and stakeholder enquiries
  • Preparing customer quotes and supporting key account and government requirements
  • Raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and maintaining POD and audit documentation
  • Supporting WHS administration, operational reporting, leadership coordination and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Will Bring

Experience in transport, logistics or operational administration

Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail

Intermediate to advanced computer literacy and data entry capability

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities

Experience working with operational systems and reporting tools

Desirable:

Experience within freight, transport or sensitive logistics environments

Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements

Understanding of WHS reporting and compliance processes

Experience supporting government or key account customers
