About the role

We are seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Dockhand to join our Sydney operations. This is a hands‑on, operational role supporting the efficient handling, movement, and tracking of freight within our warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities include

  • Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
  • Sorting, handling, and staging freight for dispatch and delivery
  • Scanning freight using COPE’s track and trace system
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and trolleys
  • Following safety procedures and operating tools to ensure efficient workflows
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet daily operational requirements

What you will bring to this role

A strong work ethic and a self‑motivated approach

Flexibility with working hours and operational requirements

Experience in the freight industry or removals environment is preferred but not essential

Confidence in adapting to new systems and technology

Good physical fitness with previous experience in manual or physical labour roles

Attention to detail, including working with paperwork and consignment notes

Licences such as forklift or white card are desirable but not essential
