Plant Operation Support
- Assist Control Room Operators in daily plant operations.
- Support start-up, shutdown, and normal running of plant units.
- Operate basic equipment such as pumps, valves, and filters under supervision.
- Carry out field checks on RO trains, intake systems, and post-treatment systems.
Field Monitoring and Inspection
- Perform routine patrols of plant areas.
- Check pumps, pipelines, tanks, filters, and chemical dosing systems.
- Report leaks, abnormal noise, vibration, or equipment faults.
- Help ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Data Recording and Sampling
- Take readings for flow, pressure, level, conductivity, and pH.
- Record data in log sheets or digital systems with SCADA support.
- Collect water samples for laboratory analysis.
- Assist with basic on-site testing when required.
Basic Maintenance Support
- Assist the maintenance team during repairs and shutdowns.
- Clean equipment, filters, and work areas.
- Support lubrication, tightening, and minor mechanical tasks.
- Help change cartridges, filters, and consumable parts.
Chemical Handling and Housekeeping
- Assist with safe handling and dilution of treatment chemicals.
- Support chemical dosing system checks under supervision.
- Ensure chemicals are correctly stored and labeled.
- Maintain plant and operational area cleanliness and support waste management.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Forklift operation and material handling license with three years of experience.
- Bobcat or skid-steer operation license with three years of experience.
- Loading and unloading materials.
- Basic equipment inspection.
- Safe lifting, manual handling, and compliance with PPE requirements.
- Warehouse and construction-site support.
- Good physical fitness and stamina.
Pay
- Pay starts at QAR 1.00 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person at plant and operational work areas.
