About the roleThe Operating Theatre Assistant provides essential operational support within the Perioperative Unit at Caboolture Hospital, helping to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of surgical services. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role is responsible for maintaining theatre readiness, supporting patient movement and positioning, and assisting with the preparation of procedure rooms and equipment in accordance with established standards and procedures.The successful candidate will contribute to a safe and effective operating theatre environment by supporting infection control practices, maintaining equipment and stock, assisting with patient transfers, and ensuring theatre areas are clean and prepared for procedures.
