Onsite Support Technician - Freeport, TX

The Onsite Support Technician will work in partnership with the customer, management team, global helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience. What You’ll Do The Onsite Support Technician partners with customers, management, global helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on-premises support with the goal of delivering a world-class customer service experience. Day-To-Day Responsibilities Set up and breakdown of conference spaces Perform preventative maintenance Provide timely and quality support tasks Field service support of network devices Collaborate with internal and external teams Adhere to local safety standards Provide documentation and end-user training Setup and troubleshoot A/V systems Travel to various job sites as required Create, review and update incoming Tririga and ServiceNow cases for the Freeport AV team. Monitor consumables used on AV tasks and projects and ensure accurate replacement orders are placed. Support Corporate Video Events Perform additional duties as assigned. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Teams. Education and/or Experience Valid Driver’s License High School Diploma or equivalent Bachelor's Degree, preferred Flexibility to work after hours/weekends One to three years’ experience in AV/videoconferencing support Installation and Audio-Visual experience Working Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
