- Strong track record of supervising student dissertations

- We’re seeking an experienced and student focused Online Lecturer in Psychology to join our Academic Team on a part time basis.
- This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, postgraduate learning environment, delivering high quality teaching and supervision in a fully online setting.
- With a particular focus on individual differences, quantitative research methods, and dissertation supervision.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging, high quality online teaching across postgraduate psychology modules

Essential Requirements
- A PhD in Psychology
- Experience of teaching within postgraduate higher education
- Eligibility for Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to team working
- Experience teaching on a BPS accredited programme
- Experience teaching cognitive and/or biological psychology and quantitative research methods
- A strong track record of supervising student dissertations
Desirable
- Experience of and enthusiasm for online or blended learning delivery
- Membership of, or eligibility for membership of, the British Psychological Society (BPS)
- Experience supporting students in a personal tutor capacity
Additional Information
- This is a part time role initially on a 6 month FTC, with the potential for extension.
