Onboarding Specialist

As a Onboarding Specialist (remote) on Netchex's Payroll Onboarding team, you'll be the connective tissue for our clients' onboarding journey — owning data pulls, coordinating across internal teams, and making sure every project moves forward accurately and on time. This is a hands-on role for someone who's detail-oriented, organized, and energized by juggling multiple projects at once, with real runway to grow and develop.

**Candidates must currently reside in the United States and must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. This role does not offer visa sponsorship, and candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered.**

3-5 years of experience in client-facing project coordination, onboarding, implementation, or a related payroll/HR services role

Prior experience extracting, formatting, and validating data within a client platform

Proficient/above-average skills in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite

Strong customer service orientation with a track record of problem resolution

Excellent organizational, planning, interpersonal, and prioritization skills

Accurate data entry and quality-control review abilities

Ability to multi-task and prioritize across multiple concurrent projects

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Prior experience in the payroll, financial, or related service industry preferred

Fundamentals of Payroll Certification (FPC) or other related certifications preferred

End-to-end exposure to client onboarding projects across the full implementation lifecycle — not limited to a single workstream

Direct, hands-on ownership of onboarding support for enterprise-account clients

Close collaboration with the COE, Onboarding, and Project Management teams

A clear path forward — high performers often move into Onboarding Lead (Payroll or HR) roles

Training and mentorship to build deep expertise in payroll platform configuration and client data management
