Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Occupational Therapist role based in Dubai.
- Assess clients’ functional abilities, sensory needs, and daily living skills.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for children, adolescents, and adults.
- Deliver one on one (and group) therapy sessions, documenting progress and adjusting interventions.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, physicians, psychologists, and other therapists.
- Contribute to case discussions, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, and engage in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical foundation in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, intervention planning, and evidence based treatment techniques.
- Knowledge of Rehabilitation principles, functional training, and strategies to improve independence.
- Understanding of Pediatrics and child development, with experience or interest in working with children and adolescents.
- Effective Communication skills for working with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
- Relevant degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution and eligibility for licensing/registration in Dubai or the UAE.
- Experience in medical or clinical settings is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team based, family centered practice.
- Commitment to ongoing learning, ethical practice, and maintaining up to date knowledge.
