Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
Current CPR Level C
Knowledge and Abilities
Demonstrates leadership, confidence and autonomy in the RN (NP) role
Knowledge in HIV, Hep C and addiction recovery
Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge in community development and facilitation strategies
Ability and flexibility in adapting to changing situations and environments
Demonstrates ability in verbal and non-verbal communication techniques
Commitment to continued learning and professional development.
Knowledge in time management
Ability to be self directed and work relatively independently
Knowledge in unique issues of HIV/STD and hepatitis
Ability to implement holistic, comprehensive care to individuals/groups/families
Ability to initiate and exercise critical thinking and decision-making
