Main Duties and Responsibilities

Develop programs within designated area(s) of the Nursing Services Department in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and evidence based practices.
Develop and promote standards and objectives for Nursing Education that support the goals of the Nursing Services Department.
Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate orientation, in service, and continuing education programs.
Ensure quality assurance of clinical facilitator sessions related to Competency Based Learning (CBL), linking educational programs to clinical practice.
Develop and conduct educational and training programs as required. Deliver classroom and clinical teaching using adult learning principles and innovative teaching strategies.
Plan, implement, and evaluate identified needs for new educational programs and revise existing ones as necessary.
Develop and maintain instructional and reference materials relevant to the needs of Nursing Services personnel.
Assist in the development of the annual educational calendar.
Participate in the development and review of patient care standards, policies, and procedures.
Develop, implement, and coordinate student placements, internships, and new graduate residency programs for Saudi nurses, including follow up in assigned clinical areas during placements.
Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement, accreditation, and patient safety initiatives.
Perform other job related duties as assigned.
