Nuclear Thermal-Hydraulics Engineer

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in thermal-hydraulics analysis (industry, research, or graduate work).
• Demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following: RELAP5, TRACE, OpenFOAM , ANSYS Fluent, COMSOL, or equivalent CFD/system codes.
• Strong understanding of heat transfer, single- and two-phase flow, and reactor cooling systems.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar scripting tools for post-processing and data automation.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, including strong writing skills.
• Experience with CFD coupling, or multi-physics simulation.
• Exposure to experimental validation or test loop design.
• Prior experience with Aerospace or Military Grade engineering is a plus.

CSMC works with highly sensitive nuclear, defence, and aerospace‑related technologies.

• Able to work on‑site in Waterloo, Ontario, as required for access to secure and controlled workspaces
