Night Support Worker Temporary Accommodation

As a Night Support Worker in Temporary Accommodation, you will:

• Provide advice and support on a range of issues faced by residents of the scheme as part of a pathway of support provision from point of homelessness crisis to move on to settled accommodation

• Provide support to address housing issues and/or personal issues, build confidence and ultimately improve residents’ ability to maintain and sustain future accommodation.

• Provide excellent customer service, listening and empathising with residents and showing a desire to help and support

• Contribute to the ongoing development of Temporary Supported Accommodation schemes and homelessness services.

What are we looking for?

• A dynamic, self-motivated and organised individual who is committed to making a real difference.

• A strong communicator and problem solver, able to handle difficult and sometimes volatile situations should they arise.

• Proven experience of working within the social housing sector

• Experience of working in supported accommodation and/or support services which align with the Housing Support Grant guidelines and outcomes framework would be an advantage.
