Night Shift Cleaner (Everclean)

Role Overview

Cleaning Responsibilities

• Auto-scrub common-area and vestibule floors.
• Dust mop and sweep floors while moving and replacing furniture and other movable obstacles.
• Remove gum, adhesives, and floor stains, reporting stains that cannot be removed.
• Sweep and rinse mop corners, storefronts, and edges inaccessible to power equipment.
• Lift, clean beneath, and reposition seasonal entrance mats.
• Clean food court, back hallway, loading bay, and service corridor floors.
• Immediately clean standing water and spills and place caution signs until surfaces are safe.
• Sweep escalators when they are off and sweep and mop public and freight elevators.

Response and Administration

• Respond to calls from the Property Manager, Lead Hand, Supervisor, or Manager.
• Respond to fire and sprinkler alarms according to emergency procedures.
• Follow basic safety and security procedures.
• Assist with promotions, displays, or table setup when requested.
• Complete incident reports and equipment maintenance logs.
• Perform high dusting and other reasonable requests as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Ability to safely operate and maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Ability to physically perform the duties of the position.
• Ability to attend work regularly, consistently, and on an ongoing basis.
• Ability to understand and implement janitorial policies and procedures.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to perform all cleaning tasks.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
