Network Support Engineer L2 - Third Party payroll

Identify and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity problems, packet loss, and latency.

Use network monitoring tools, such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Nagios, to troubleshoot and analyze network issues.

3. Cloud Networking:

Good knowledge about AWS and Azure, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups.

Configure and manage cloud-based network services, such as AWS Direct Connect and Azure ExpressRoute.

Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices and industry standards.

4. Network Access Control (NAC):

Good knowledge and manage NAC solutions, including policy creation, user authentication, and device profiling.

Ensure that NAC solutions are integrated with existing network infrastructure and security systems.

Troubleshoot NAC-related issues and perform routine maintenance tasks.

5. Network Security:

Implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and access controls.

Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, and identify areas for improvement.

6. Network Upgrades and Projects:

Participate in network upgrade and migration projects, including planning, testing, and implementation.

Collaborate with other teams to design and implement new network architectures and solutions.

7. Documentation and Communication:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.

Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including incident reports, problem analyses, and solution recommendations.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree

2. Experience: 4-5 years of experience in network support and administration, with a focus on cloud networking (AWS and Azure) and NAC.

3. Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and HTTP.

Experience with network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

Familiarity with network management tools, such as SNMP, Syslog, and NetFlow.

Knowledge of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups.

Experience with AWS and Azure services, including:

AWS: VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, and Direct Connect.

Azure: Virtual Networks, Azure Firewall, Azure Storage, and ExpressRoute.

Experience with NAC solutions, including:

Cisco ISE

Aruba ClearPass

Knowledge of authentication protocols, including 802.1X, RADIUS, and TACACS+.

4. Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Network Specialist, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or NAC-specific certifications (e.g. Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass) are preferred.
