Role Overview
The role seeks a Network Security Architect with a strong foundation in Layer 2/3 networking and secure site-to-site connectivity.
The architect will work on customer products and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent OT network architecture with security and compliance considerations and make connectivity architecture decisions.
- Define reference architectures, standards and design frameworks for OT networks.
- Design, implement and govern secure, resilient and scalable OT network architectures across industrial and manufacturing environments.
- Develop high-level and low-level designs, network diagrams, IP addressing schemes, routing policies, firewall policies and architecture standards.
- Evaluate OEM products and balance technical and commercial considerations in architecture decisions.
- Lead Zero Trust adoption for OT environments and drive multi-site, multi-region architecture.
- Define resiliency, redundancy and failover strategies.
- Lead architecture reviews with Product, Cybersecurity and Compliance teams.
- Influence vendor selection, technology standards and long-term roadmaps.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity and enterprise IT Network teams on monitoring, vulnerability management, IT/OT convergence and secure remote access.
Technical Skills
- Layer 2/3 networking, including switching, STP, VLANs and BGP.
