Role overview
Join DWP Digital's Network Service Operations team to transform data centre and remote-site network infrastructure.
The role supports a large-scale network environment spanning cloud platforms, security systems, load balancers, and core infrastructure.
Skills, knowledge and experience
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale on-premises and cloud network infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, encryption, authentication, and live network security controls.
- Experience with third-line support, ITSM incident management, problem management, change management, and service improvement.
- Strong TCP/IP knowledge covering OSPF, BGP, VXLAN, DNS, DHCP, and NTP, with complex troubleshooting ability.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Investigate incidents, resolve complex network issues, and improve network performance and operational reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and architecture teams to advance cloud-based and automated solutions.
- Support AWS, Azure, OCI, firewalls, load balancers, and core network infrastructure.
