Design, implement, maintain, and support the company’s growing network infrastructure.
Develop scalable, maintainable, and highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs.
Work as part of a network engineering team and collaborate with other organizational teams.
Responsibilities
- Configure and install routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and QoS services.
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
- Monitor performance, availability, reliability, resource utilization, trends, and capacity.
- Provide support and troubleshooting to resolve network issues.
- Follow established configuration and change management policies.
- Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures with the security team.
- Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on network engineering experience.
- Experience with Cisco ASA, Firepower, and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Experience with Cisco IOS and NXOS.
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, Juniper, and Dell switches.
- Knowledge of Cisco WiFi and Mobility Express configuration.
- Deep understanding of IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, and QoS.
- Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
- CCNA or Network+ certification is a plus.
- A BA/BS degree in computer science or equivalent education is preferred, with commensurate experience considered.
