  • 🧰 Tools & Equipment to Carry
  • Engineer must bring the following tools:
  • Laptop with charger
  • Console cable
  • Mobile phone with internet connection
  • Label printer
  • Drilling machine with screws
  • Cage nuts
  • Cable ties (Velcro)
  • 1 × 10m Cat6A patch cord
  • 1 × 2x2 Cat6 I/O box
  • 2 × Cat6 I/Os
  • Any additional tools required for installation work
  • 👉 Note: 2 Access Points (APs) need to be repositioned
  • 🔧 Scope of Work (Hands & Feet Support)

Core Activities

  • Rack and stack new switches and unmount old switches
  • Perform patch panel management and cable organization
  • Ensure proper cabling structure and labeling
  • Mount new access points and remove old ones
  • Provide console connectivity support for remote configuration
  • Assist during user testing
  • ⚙️ Detailed Tasks
  • Replace all old access points with new ones
  • Migrate all cables from old switches to new switches
  • Mount new switches in the rack without disturbing existing devices
  • Label all new switches and access points after installation
  • Connect 2–3 new APs to the new switch for configuration and testing
  • Test Wi-Fi connectivity using end-user devices
  • Perform final failover testing to ensure network stability
  • Unmount and decommission old switches and APs
  • Pack old devices into new AP boxes
  • Complete full decommission activity

  • Conduct a
  • Wi-Fi site survey
  • to verify coverage and performance of new access points

  • Strong hands-on experience in
  • network hardware installation and cabling

  • rack & stack, AP installation, and onsite troubleshooting
