NDA Litigated File Handler

Working hours

• The role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm with one unpaid hour for lunch.

Workplace arrangement

• The primary location stated in the description is the Bolton Parklands Office.
• Workers attend company offices at least one day per week under an agile working arrangement.

Requirements

• Experience in civil litigation claims handling or as a legal File Handler, or suitable qualification such as ILEX or LPC.
• Experience handling RTA pre-litigated and/or litigated caseloads.
• Understanding of insurance litigation practice, processes, and indemnity principles.
• Working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and litigation process.
• Good advocacy skills.
• Good client care skills and evidence of working to client guidelines.
• High-level analytical skills.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, work under pressure, anticipate problems, and identify solutions.
• Experience with time recording and billing systems.
• Experience handling linked and organized fraud.
• Qualified solicitor or CILEX with necessary practice rights, with consideration also given to CILEX Lawyers.
