Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor manufacturing, welding, and assembly of steel structures
- Conduct quality control through Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), self inspections, and quality documentation
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 3834, ISO 45001, and classification society rules
- Apply knowledge of welding techniques, welding procedures, NDT, and surface preparation
- Utilize nesting software and CAD/CAM tools (e.g., FORAN) for production planning and material optimization
- Contribute to implementation of Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) measures
- Interpret technical drawings and collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams
- Manage and report using SAP and standard office tools
Requirements
- Degree in Naval Architecture or Technical Naval Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing and assembly of steel structures in naval or industrial sector
- Solid understanding of welding standards, fabrication processes, and quality assurance
- Familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 3834, 45001) and classification society guidelines
- Proficient with FORAN, SAP, and Microsoft Office
- English level B2 minimum
- Must be in Saudi Arabia or willing to relocate
