Job Overview

  • We are looking for a high‑impact National Sales Business Development Manager who is responsible for growing and retaining strategic customer accounts while also identifying, developing, and winning new business opportunities.
  • This position combines long‑term account development with proactive exploration of new customers to strengthen our market presence and accelerate business expansion.

How you create impact

  • Own and develop key accounts, acting as the primary link between customers and Kuehne+Nagel in line with agreed targets and company guidelines.
  • Plan and execute account strategies, define value propositions, and shape tender approaches in collaboration with business units.
  • Lead structured customer reviews to align on strategy, priorities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor monthly performance (volume, pipeline, overdue) and initiate corrective actions when needed.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities, maintain a strong pipeline, and achieve high closing ratios.
  • Negotiate rates with customers in alignment with the relevant business units, ensuring rate sheets are properly documented and maintained.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new business and effective handover to operations.

What we would like you to bring

  • Min 5 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within Qatar market.
  • Strong strategic account management skills with proven success in growing and retaining key customers.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills; fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Solid understanding of Sea, Air, and Road Logistics, including customs processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with a proactive, continuous‑improvement mindset.
  • High proficiency in Excel and strong analytical capabilities.
