About the Role

Responsibilities
- Own and develop key accounts, acting as the primary link between customers and Kuehne+Nagel in line with agreed targets and company guidelines
- Plan and execute account strategies, define value propositions, and shape tender approaches in collaboration with business units
- Lead structured customer reviews to align on strategy, priorities, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor monthly performance (volume, pipeline, overdue) and initiate corrective actions when needed
- Identify and convert new business opportunities, maintain a strong pipeline, and achieve high closing ratios
- Negotiate rates with customers in alignment with the relevant business units, ensuring rate sheets are properly documented and maintained
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new business and effective handover to operations
Requirements
- Min 5 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within Qatar market
- Strong strategic account management skills with proven success in growing and retaining key customers
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills; fluent in English and Arabic
- Solid understanding of Sea, Air, and Road Logistics, including customs processes
- Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset
- High proficiency in Excel and strong analytical capabilities

Job Overview
