About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation and ongoing review of the IB Middle Years Programme in line with IB standards and practices
- Manage IB authorisation, evaluation and self study processes; act as primary liaison with the IB organisation
- Support, coach and develop MYP teachers in effective programme delivery, unit design and assessment
- Oversee the Personal Project process, service as action and ATL skill development across the MYP
- Lead the moderation and standardisation of MYP assessment across all subject groups
- Coordinate eAssessment preparation and external moderation submissions
- Lead MYP focused staff CPD and ensure engagement with Nord Anglia University
- Communicate MYP expectations, progress and outcomes clearly to parents and the school community
Requirements
- Recognized teaching qualification and classroom teaching experience in an IB MYP school
- IB MYP workshop training at Category 1 or 2 level
- In depth knowledge of MYP curriculum, assessment criteria, eAssessment and the Personal Project
- Understanding of IB programme standards, practices and authorisation requirements
- Excellent organisational, communication and coaching skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils
- Experience in an IB coordinator or curriculum leadership role (desirable)
- International school experience, ideally within the Middle East (desirable)

- EGA is a newly established IB World School offering the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP)
The Role
- Leading the planning, implementation and ongoing review of the IB Middle Years Programme in line with IB standards and practices
- Managing IB authorisation, evaluation and self study processes; acting as the primary liaison with the IB organisation
