As a result of our continued growth, Mead & Hunt has an exciting opportunity available for a Municipal Engineer to join a team where you'll design infrastructure, interact with clients, and progressively take ownership of projects in our Madison, WI area office.

include: Assist with roadway design, site development design, and grading plans Assist with utility design, including potable water, wastewater, and stormwater. Hydraulic / hydrologic modeling Collaborating with project managers and senior engineers Supporting preparation of reports, technical memoranda, cost estimates, specifications, design plans, studies, plan production, and permits Construction inspection/observation Some local travel will be required The successful candidate must have: A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering from an ABET accredited college or university At least one year of relevant municipal engineering experience The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: Proficiency with Civil 3D Design of stormwater/drainage systems Design of drinking water and/or sewer systems Construction administration/observation Preparation of plans, specifications and cost estimates for civil infrastructure projects (emphasis on water resources projects) Microsoft Office and Bluebeam software The ideal candidate will also have their EIT certification.
