Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, TA5 1UD
- G4S Facilities Management are looking for a dedicated Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias for a full-time, permanent position. This is a distinctive opportunity to join our team at Hinkley Point C, located in Bridgwater.
- We are looking for a fully qualified and experienced 18th Edition Electrical Engineer, this is a predominantly static role, with occasional mobile requirements across a range of sites to maintain and repair electrical installations and assets, building fabric, services and estate.
- The position is ideal for someone who works well as part of a team and takes pride in their work, you will be G4S representative on-site so good communications skills and customer relations is essential.
Responsibilities
- Operate planned maintenance procedures for assets etc. effectively and safely within their range of qualifications, training and experience.
- Carry out minor electrical installations.
- Deal effectively and safely with breakdowns and damage to assets within their range of qualifications, training and experience as required and by out of hours response where necessary.
- Write up reports and technical procedures for Building Maintenance Activities.
- Assist in the training and development of other maintenance/technical staff involved in site maintenance activities.
- Maintain inspection and repairs to various types of heating, water, ventilation, electrical, mechanical and security etc. equipment and services on site.
- Diagnose faults on all mechanical and electrical support systems and rectifying where within levels of competence.
- Follow detailed drawings and operational maintenance manuals in order to carry out all planned maintenance, routine inspections and repairs.
- Work with other craft qualified, semi-skilled and non-skilled maintenance staff to develop cross-skilling and cover all levels and aspects of maintenance activities on a team work basis.
